When a fresh track is found, your guide will help you decide if the trail is worth pursuing. Careful analysis of the track with their trained eyes usually yields a good deal of information such as approximate weight and sex of the cat. When the right track is cut, a few dogs will be turned loose. While the dogs home in on the cat, your guide will get as close as possible in the vehicle before you set out on foot.
